Thanks for taking the time to review your experience of working at PGL. We’re sorry you didn’t feel able to rate us as more than one star, and we would really love to find out why! All colleagues will shortly receive an end of season feedback form and we would welcome further details of your experience. You can also send feedback, confidentially, to hrenquiries@hb-ed.co.uk.
We are also sorry that you feel that there is not enough mental health support at PGL. We are truly committed to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of all our colleagues. 2021 has been a year like no other and we know the challenges our teams have faced, particularly during our busy periods, and the effects that the pandemic has had both on our operation and on our colleagues. Our HR team has engaged staff in lots of initiatives throughout the year to help support mental health and welfare, including nature photography and sunflower growing during Mental Health Awareness Week in May, crafting and origami for World Mental Health Day in October, and various group events in November, raising funds for the health charity MOVEMBER. PGL also provides a free and confidential life management and personal support service for all our colleagues, including a wellbeing calendar.
We value the knowledge and experience of all our colleagues and the significant contribution that makes to ensuring our diverse staff team can deliver a brilliant experience for our young guests. If you’re returning next year, we look forward to welcoming you back in 2022 and would encourage you to share your concerns with our centre HR team, who are fully trained to help support you in your role.
