Pros

- Freedom to innovate and implement your ideas in real businesses - A great learning curve, you can sharpen your skill sets - Exposure to multiple industries ( Textiles, retail, education etc.) - An understanding management (debatable but good) - Good work life balance ( in comparison to hard core consulting)

Cons

- Pay is a concern (it is an SME consulting constraint and not a firm issue) - Accommodation provided by clients are often pathetic - Leaves are bare minimal , Saturdays are working even when you can comfortably finish the week's work in 5 days - English is barely used at the workplace - Jump to other companies will be a bit hard - No PF or ESI

Pros

PKC provides outstanding growth opportunities by offering an equal platform to showcase skills. It fosters leadership, skill development, and knowledge sharing through training, promoting collective progress. I have immense admiration for Prakash Kochar Sir’s kindness and his generous, supportive nature. I truly value the strong sense of teamwork at PKC and the shared commitment to mutual growth, consistently aligning with the company’s vision. The prompt and reliable salary disbursement at PKC is highly reassuring. This consistency reflects the organization’s appreciation for our dedication, enabling us to plan our personal commitments with confidence.

Cons

The compensation and benefits, such as variable pay, are released only once a year, which affects each employee’s overall earnings.

Pros

Joining PKC’s Tax Department has been a rewarding experience, with diverse tasks that promote continuous learning and growth. The variety of work ensures minimal repetition, enhancing technical and analytical skills. The supportive, collaborative culture and proactive guidance from managers foster both professional and personal development.

Cons

During peak season, the long working hours can be exhausting, especially with limited resources and support from management. Unfortunately, the extra effort put into overtime often goes unrecognized, leaving a sense of discouragement.
