Pros

Great coworkers who are always willing to help. Relaxed office environment Rollout Celebrations. Glassdoor needs 20 word minimum so this is how I will complete the Pros for PLS

Cons

No Sales support. One week of Sales training and it's really nothing special. manager typically more concerned about the office leaders Leads are given to people already having a successful book of business #richgetricher Constant target on your back because of sales benchmark....haven't seen a sales job that will can you after 1-3 months of sales because you didn't necessary get to the benchmark Timing can be an issue when you do get customers because they simply aren't too busy that time of year for freight Might be a little sour since I got canned, but don't think you can judge someones sales aptitude in 1-3 months..... High turnover rate compare it to the University of Kentucky's one and done

Pros

The Colleagues and relationships you make with your co-workers. Building a book of business, and fast paced environment. Unlimited Growth Potential.

Cons

The direction the company is headed in and the toxicity of an everchanging management structure. As someone who spent almost a decade with PLS; I can say fully and honestly, they do not care about you. This is a company to build experience with and move on from. If you are a $20K rep for more than 6 months, after you roll out, they will move off of you. You will be terminated with no second thought--other reps will poach your clients and potentially ruin any relationships. Furthermore, management tends to play favorites--If you show growth potential, they will feed you, but the moment you fail on one opportunity--you will be turned over. This is not the job for anyone who questions their own ability and work ethic. PLS Hires in classes - they will hire 30-40 people at a time, and in 3 months, 4 to 5 people of that class will remain. The turn over is extremely high and there is no job security. Finally, even if you are a top performer, they will not hesitate to get rid of you.
