Pros

I have to write something here... the only pro I found at PLS was that I had an income for 10 months. The people aren't bad to work with, but it's definitely not being run by people that know how to manage and train employees.

Cons

They entice young kids out of college to come join their great team, move them to a new city, employ them for 6 months, then kick them to the curb. I do not agree with their recruiting techniques at all. On another note, I believe that it's a company where the rich get richer at the hard work of others. They let all these new people come in and find new customers for them, then when they fire those people the new customers are given to the "hard working" account executives. Bottom line, it's not worth it... they will come after you with lawsuits if you attempt to get a job for a competitor after they fire you.

Pros

The Colleagues and relationships you make with your co-workers. Building a book of business, and fast paced environment. Unlimited Growth Potential.

Cons

The direction the company is headed in and the toxicity of an everchanging management structure. As someone who spent almost a decade with PLS; I can say fully and honestly, they do not care about you. This is a company to build experience with and move on from. If you are a $20K rep for more than 6 months, after you roll out, they will move off of you. You will be terminated with no second thought--other reps will poach your clients and potentially ruin any relationships. Furthermore, management tends to play favorites--If you show growth potential, they will feed you, but the moment you fail on one opportunity--you will be turned over. This is not the job for anyone who questions their own ability and work ethic. PLS Hires in classes - they will hire 30-40 people at a time, and in 3 months, 4 to 5 people of that class will remain. The turn over is extremely high and there is no job security. Finally, even if you are a top performer, they will not hesitate to get rid of you.
