HR gossips about employees in the break room, GM does not have the emotional capacity that a GM needs to have, as a manager it is well known throughout the company that if you are a salary manager (other then the GM, HR, Sales department and their “Guest Services Director”) you can be fired in a seconds notice, even if you have never even had so much as a write up, the working conditions are horrible with rooms full of mold, carpets full of mold, and the building falling apart with no money put into maintaining it but we sit in a meeting where they brag about acquiring all these new properties, yet won’t fix the mold issue and keep us working around it. Favoritism is very strong with this company. If you are not in sales, HR, or the guest services director, you will be singled out and overworked. We’re told to not abuse the unlimited vacation time usage yet we see many times where the GM, sales, guest services director (who has taken more vacation then I have and she has only been working there for a year) take an insane amount of vacation constantly. There is also no respect for certain managers days off and vacation time. They are constantly contacted on days off and vacation time. There are many reviews that align with mine so obviously something is wrong or else all our reviews wouldn’t be so alike.
