Pros

The people that work there become family because it is a high stress environment and you are working together to help kids… The company does compensate you well if you’re a provider, however the CSS staff x-ray technologies, MAs and front desk Associates are not compensated as competitively and they are expected to wear many hats to support the provider as is the provider expected to wear many hats. Often times providers are expected to do the med delivery take the x-ray and chart and it can get quite busy working with the skeleton crew. the company pushes an evidence based care model with a good antibiotics stewardship and is uniquely new ones to serve a primary need in many communities.

Cons

The company is extremely metric driven, and upper management has meetings where they declare poor financial metrics leading to inability to give people raises since the company was sold to the currency CEO of Kevin Trexler. management is scrutinized and given mixed messages on how to support staff clinically and there is a lack of a human aspect, especially when it comes to schedules and planning they give you PTO time, but they want you to take it all when business is slow, they blackout winter holidays stating you cannot have PTO then, but that’s not actually a policy in any handbook. They try to cut your hours and send you home when business is slow there is a lack of structural organization within leadership, which also results in confusion on accountability.
