Pros

- Feeling like you're making a difference in the world (helping farmers, domestic energy independence, environment, etc.) - Tenure of leadership and team members says a lot about a positive company culture. - Ownership is heavily invested in the business, shows they're willing "put their money where their mouth is"

Cons

- Challenges associated with merging of the overall business. - One Company but still some tensions between departments from the old "plant management" leadership structure.

Best environment I have ever worked in, you can tell that Poet cares about its employees, I enjoyed going to work.

Cons

You need to be able to pick up on things quickly, the job involves a lot of going with the flow and figuring things out.
