Pros

The best parts of the job is the flexibility and the notion that PPD will train anyone with a bachelors in various science fields for a position here. Great place to start after college. Personally, I've had great experiences with management and supervisors overall. Diversified testing experiences available for those who are hungry to learn new tests.

Cons

Major con is that promotions are rare and the ability to climb with your career is very limited here. The company seems to prioritize utilizing fresh college graduates versus paying proven analysts what they deserve. In addition, the company is recently hiring new positions like mad. Therefore, the buildings are getting claustrophobic and clustered full of people.

Pros

Provided health insurance. Good coworkers Good exposure to team at client site If you have a good technical lead, the job can be great!

Cons

You have 2 bosses (Technical lead from Client Site) and your PPD boss. PPD Boss does not know what is going on If you have a bad technical lead, your life can be miserable. Pay is low No protection from abusive technical lead (coworkers on same team can have a drastically different experience)
