Lots of interesting work and opportunities to further your career up to a certain level.
Cons
Too much politicking and poor leadership at the department level. There is opportunity to rise through the ranks, quickly, but ultimately, higher level opportunities are limited and not filled based on talent. Salaries are also low compared to the work asked of employees.
