Pros

+ Lots of autonomy + Employee culture feels like family in some respects + Flexible schedule depending on position + Free gym membership + Ability to grow in position and move around the company fairly easily + The president of the company is kind and generous, but doesn't have much say on upper management decision making I would recommend a position here if you want to get to know the health industry, meet new people, and work in a fairly flexible space. It's a good stepping stone for future career moves. I would recommend PRO Club to a friend if they are seeking a calm place to work as they ponder where they want their career to take them next.

Cons

- Toxic upper management corporate culture that trickles down - Plenty of HR violations that go unreported because people are afraid to stir up controversy within their respective team - Feels as though you are back in high school - CEO will not listen to advice, has sexist ideals, has racial stereotypes, and is not afraid to threaten to fire anyone if they do something he doesn't like, even if it's sharing an opinion he is unhappy with - Must wear an uniform - Reactive company as opposed to proactive - Lack of proper communication between departments - Lots of gossip and two faced behavior - High turnover rate (usually a bad sign) - Each department has their own culture and they like to weed out people not based on their skill sets, but based on their personalities; meaning if you don't "fit in" then you will struggle and the team will not try to accommodate to who you are much - An unhealthy obsession with weight loss and beauty Ask anyone who has worked at the company for more than 6 months and they will each have their own list of grievances. Many regard PRO Club as a "sinking ship" due to poor management, high turnover, and lack of a proper vision. Additionally, the company will make you feel as though you are not worth much when it comes to compensation and they are not afraid to tell you that you are not worth what you are asking (even if it's within reason) as opposed to kindly letting you know that they do not have the budget for what you are asking. It's all about tact - one quality many at PRO Club lack.

Pros

Friendly staff, supportive day-to-day culture, and big events that are legitimately impressive and enjoyable.

Cons

Small teams carrying a massive workload. Payroll issues happened more than they should. Uniforms weren’t my favorite.
