Pros
Flight benefits are great, you have the same priority as an American Airlines employee on standby travel. The other review is incorrect. Bases are all in affordable places to live; Knoxville, Charlotte, Dayton, and Cincinnati. Crew hotels and the commuter clause is a big help for commuters.
Cons
So many to list. Pay is the lowest in the industry even with bonuses. Pay is constantly being messed up and the way you track it is so convoluted and in so many places, they take advantage of it. They advertise a 6-7 year flow to American that makes no sense at the current rate of 5 a month. Also advertised is the ability to have a flexible schedule. This is only if you've been at the airline for at least a year and a half. Schedules are built inefficiently, and as a result you will spend a lot of time on the road and be compensated little for it.
