Pros

Good work/life balance and generous vacation for longtime employees with 20+ years.

Cons

Salaries not commensurate with experience, veteran employees are not compensated for their commitment, strong work ethic and loyalty. As a frontline supervisor with 25 years and a strong track record, my pay is the same as all other supervisors, including those with just a couple of years. Based on the CPI calculation $123,000 in December 2025 equals 72,000 in 2001 which is what I earned as a first year supervisor. If you expect to see significant salary improvements PSE&G is not the place for you and a major reason why younger employees don’t stay the way they once did. Considering how outrageous the cost of medical is after pushing all employees to the high deductible plan, I’m actually living with a lot less than I ever expected I would when I was younger.
