Pros
$$$$$ - they buy out your integrity, family life, health, etc....they got a lot of it to spread around thanks to having locked up customers they can charge whatever they want to keep the coffers fat...so if all you want is $$$$ it is the place to be
Cons
- The level of pay is used to control employees and abuse them by getting employees to give 50-80 hrs per week at all hours including early AM hours - Lack of integrity and honest even though they talk "a good game" esp to customers - You are more or less treated as sub-human and are expected to be at all times in all conditions at their whims. They work to get as much out of you for every dollar you get in pay (believe me...YOU WILL work for every dollar you get). I understand that to a degree as you are there to work but they go a lot further than that. - Chance for growth is highly limited unless you totally kiss up to the right people. Getting in and staying in the "right click" is the core of PSEG - Most people that work there are confused to the company direction as it is inconsistent and highly illogical. - Your years of service don't matter. I've seen 4 people at least while I've been here that were skilled and good at their job get fired because of the whims of management. They can be very creative with how they use a total lack of integrity and honesty in getting rid of somebody...lots of lies and not working with people to help them. - Used to be a good place in many regards. But over the past 14 years I have been here it has badly degraded into the cesspool it is now. I'm looking forward to getting out soon. - Will change things at their own benefit and expect you to immediately change - Worst place I ever worked...wish there was a 0 rating or negative...much more realistic
