Pros
the company as a whole is not a bad place. is ok.. average at best pay with decent benefits. executive management likes to do some things to keep up morales like summer BBQs and Friday Ice creams and so on.
Cons
First of once you start you better kiss up to the right person because your dedication, willingness to learn, and eagerness to actually advance in this company won't matter a single bit if the wrong person does not like you much. There is limited room for advancement, but there is some, however they would give it to someone that doesn't deserve it and quite frankly is inept to do the job just because he or she is cool with the right person. In must business and places you will find some of this type of politics, but this company takes that to a whole new level and it's sad. One example "an employee I knew wanted to have more responsibilities, and a leadership role, there was an opportunity for him to do that but a supervisor for reasons unknown did not like this person he made management to move the guy to another building to open up the spot for another he liked but was not qualified, nor really cared about the job, less than two months later the guy they wanted for the position got fired, and even then they decided it was better off taking the position off, than giving it to the person who wanted it and deserved it." PAY is subjective in that way as well, if the right person likes you. someone that has upper managements ear you will do well if not you will get every excuse in the book to get pay crumbs..
