Pros

There are some earnest people.

Cons

Lacking technology / product. Anemic roadmap driven by engineers who don’t have procurement expertise, and who do not relate to or understand the end user they are building for. CEO surrounds himself with people who tell him what he wants to hear. Critical thinkers who constructively challenge, do not fit in. ELT lacks chops across the board and it shows. Very few have true SaaS experience, and even fewer have worked at reputable large enterprise organizations w revenue greater than $250M. (And that’s a low revenue bar). Lacks GTM expertise. Heavy slack culture making it impossible to stay abreast. Significantly delayed comp plans and inexperienced leaders w poor communication. Most of your time is spent internal facing dealing w turmoil versus externally facing / advancing the mission.

Pros

- cutting edge technology - strong and growing footprint in the enterprise space with global Fortune 100 brand customers - earnest and collaborative colleagues and people - solid culture, with genuinely good people - at the forefront of a highly innovative and interesting market

Cons

- opportunity to improve communication and connectivity amongst orgs; however, they are working on it. - streamlining actual comms (a very slack IM oriented place)

Pros

Remote work friendly, good pay. That’s about it. The sales team (reps only) are fantastic.

Cons

The company is far from thriving. The leadership structure is a complete disaster. They give huge company updates in slack and expect people to change their whole process based on one slack message and zero training. The CEO doesn’t understand how sales works at all. No one even knows what Pactum sells because leadership isn’t clear on the vision. People are quitting on a weekly basis.
