Pros

The opportunity to help provide affordable housing opportunities to those who need them. Unlimited PTO.

Cons

Upon meeting the PadSplit team in Atlanta I was surrounded by a toxic, misogynistic, and an innappropriate group of people who made jokes about putting rufis in drinks, picking up women in a van, and more. It was like a fraternity from the 1980s. It pushed me to the point of having a PTSD episode after having been the victim of having a drink spiked in college. The CEO (Atticus LeBlanc) worked to cover it up through honeyed words and an apology, but showed his true colors in not addressing the situation with the severity in which it should have been, and gaslight me and my experience. He brushed it off as if these topics are okay to joke about in the workspace. I'm considering civil litigation due to the level of toxicity and the effect it had on my mental health. Do not work for PadSplit unless you're okay with this type of behavior in the workplace; I'm not. This ruined my career and life. Don't roll the dice with them if you value your mental health and have ethics and standards for how people should behave and act.

Pros

-Remote work, -lots of autonomy.

Cons

-Poor management and leadership. - A real estate company ran by people with no real estate background. -Way below market salary for an account executive role. -They give you a ramp time of 3 months but realistically you will not close a deal until month 6, but will still be be held accountable. -Management does not care about career path or personal development, just production. -Management has been there for 3 years and still cant get it together, hence why they are so focused solely on transactions and not relationships. Stay away if you actually want input to be acknowledged, it will be ignored and you will be micro managed.
