Pros

It's funny how bad this place is

Cons

I highly suspect there are many, many, illegal practises going on here. Furthermore, Kuwait is not exactly known for pumping out medical geniuses lol and is widely known as the dumbest country in the middle east (which is no easy feat). Think of them as trailer trash lottery winners of the Arab world (which is saying a lot).

Pros

Working at Padra Clinic has been a transformative experience for me professionally and personally. As a brown queer woman from India, finding a workplace in Canada that not only values diversity but also actively fosters growth and development has been incredibly rewarding. In less than a year, I've been given numerous opportunities to expand my skills as a Digital Marketing Specialist. The leadership at Padra Clinic genuinely invests in their employees' success, providing mentorship, resources, and the freedom to innovate. It's rare to find a company that is so committed to creating an inclusive environment where every voice is heard and respected. I am immensely grateful to Padra Clinic for recognizing my potential and allowing me to contribute meaningfully to the company's mission. As an immigrant, this support has been invaluable, and I feel proud to be part of a team that not only delivers exceptional results but also upholds strong values of inclusivity and excellence. If you're looking for a place to grow, be yourself, and make a real impact, Padra Clinic is the place to be.

Cons

Everything is going well, no drawbacks at the moment.

Pros

None - wouldn't trust them as employers or as a clinic.

Cons

First and foremost, the individual conducting "hair consultations" lacks any medical background. Padra Clinic is a network of "Medical Aesthetic Clinics" originating from the Middle East, specifically Kuwait, and is managed by a group of brothers, each overseeing a different location. The Toronto branch is run by the youngest brother, a recent graduate from the University of Toronto who has no formal medical training. Additionally, the primary nurse injector is not certified as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Canada. There are also reports of their Kuwait clinic being raided for employing nurses who lacked valid visas and proper clinical qualifications. The treatment of employees at Padra Clinic is another significant concern. The management practices are not in compliance with federal or provincial employment laws and standards. The company uses legal defenses aggressively to protect questionable practices. The executive team, particularly the COO, displays flamboyant misogynistic behavior and a tendency towards narcissism. Employees who raise ethical concerns or challenge the management's decisions are allegedly subjected to a hostile work environment, with some being pressured to resign (constructive dismissal) or facing termination. It is also worth noting that the two HR professionals who were committed to ethical practices have left the organization. One resigned due to constant harassment at all hours, preventing her from attending to her personal responsibilities (her toddler). The other was forced out for questioning unethical practices and advocating for fair treatment of employees. It is highly advisable to proceed with caution when considering any association with Padra Clinic.
