Pros

Most cohesive and supportive team I have ever worked on with an emphasis on transparent business practices, open dialogue and technical leadership. Colleagues are dedicated, very smart, pragmatic, and friendly. The US business unit is still working out some of the kinks of multiple recent acquisitions, but management is very responsive to employee feedback and everyone works collaboratively to address bottlenecks with no time wasted pointing fingers. Lots of opportunities to get involved, take on new assignments, travel, and learn.

Cons

Not all of the support departments are up to snuff in part because there aren't enough staff and roles and responsibilities aren't always clear. DC open office layout isn't for everyone. Many corporate systems and practices are overly process-driven and cumbersome. Focus on diversity and inclusion is strong, although still a work in progress as far as getting more women into leadership roles.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We couldn't be prouder of the great team we have in place! Our hope is that the recently launched Guiding Principles, Performance Excellence Framework, and Learning and Development Strategy will help all teams reach the same high standard. Our Chief Diversity Officer has helped us make great strides and we look forward to continued improvements in diversity and inclusion moving forward. We're also undertaking a Remuneration and Benefits review globally to ensure we're offering competitive packages based on market factors for each of our hub office locations. As always, we'll keep all employees up to date on the results of this and any other initiatives.

Pros

great work environment; supportive environment; lots of professional development

Cons

not a lot of job growth for everyone (only a few director roles, and not many women were in leadership roles); annoying that to get promoted you had to apply to an open position instead of getting a cycle promotion, which was more difficult to get.
