Being a family run business, you must be aware of the politics and pitfalls that come along with this job. Your job recognition is completely dependent on your boss and you will not grow beyond a certain point and your job security is always at risk. There is no real appraisal system so a lot depends on your immediate boss/ bosses. HR is the police for employees so stay well away from any unnecessary interactions with them. Not at all helpful or forthcoming. No real employee benefits apart from mediclaim and group insurance - be aware that the premium is also calculated in your CTC.
