Pros
My training was hands on. The manager was friendly and answered all my questions. My coworkers helped me along the way and are really nice. They gave me a lot of tips on saving time and learning food codes.
Cons
-Expected to learn the food codes in 3 days -10 minute breaks after standing for so long -ALOT of cleaning. You are expected to sweep, restock bathroom essentials/straws, lids, take out trash, clean tables under 2 minutes!!!!! -Violations are given if you clock out late so you need to get your job done ASAP -Unreliable schedules -Working long hours. I applied for part time but they keep giving me 4-6 hrs -Social life decreases -Balancing school & the job is hard -VERY fast paced. Customers come in loads randomly & you're expected to serve them quickly -It's hard to hear customers over food preparation & background noise, then customers get mad because you ask them to repeat -Closing the store sucks. Lots of cleaning, restocking, sweeping, mopping -really stressful
