I use to love my job, but I can no longer say anything positive

No one is allowed to make 40hrs a week or be a full-time employee unless you are a “General Manager “ an above. The company bases your hours on store sales, if sales go down you are not guaranteed a stable income or to maintain having any benefits. The ability to be able to promote to a hirer position is mostly based on favoritism. The company wants you to believe that they care and won’t retaliate for speaking up , it’s a lie!
