No pros I can think of

This company will make you feel like you are a slave to them. You will be expected to do everything at the Beck and call right then in there, they will micromanage you. They will go back in the messages and ask you why you replied to every message they get mad at their guest services talking to the owners. They do not accept your time off They’re so understaffed and they tend to just fire people as soon as you do anything wrong that they don’t like They bug you on your off days without even giving you any peace And let’s not even talk about the pay the pay is good, but why are we still living paycheck to paycheck while slaving for a job that we absolutely dread going to? Management does not help good luck trying to get a hold of them Guest services will look for answers that guest ask for 5 to 10 minutes and you can’t get a response from anyone I would say they only have a handful of good employees that actually try the other ones do not answer phones. They do not answer messages nothing and the ones that do answer are so burnt out They don’t wanna do it anymore. You put in so much effort for this W-2 job that you wonder if you put in this much effort how would you do during your own business?

- A rockstar team where everyone is bought in to servicing guests and owners - Family owned and operated - Owner truly cares about all of her employees - Full Benefits and 401K Match - Good work is recognized with annual bonuses/raises

Cons

- As Panhandle Getaways has scaled over time, some tools and processes could use updating

There are no pros about working for this company

Cons

The owner will pile jobs on you every day and you are expected to remain quiet, even as you were hired to do one job and then you are moved into a completely new department. The owner doesn't listen to anyone who works for her except her favorite male worker that she allows to run off everyone in the company. Her children all work there and that is always an issue. She buys new companies and makes everyone work for them even though there is no more compensation or even a discussion on that you will have to work for her other companies. None of this is made clear when you are hired. There is no job description for anyone's job. The owner is a control freak who makes her employees feel like children. HR is non existant, no one has ability to do anything without asking the owner of this big company. You are called or texted or emailed at all hours and made to feel guilty if you don't answer on your day off.
