Abuses their workers - Barista Pappalecco Employee Review

Working at Pappalecco Kensington has been a genuinely positive experience, and a big part of that is thanks to our incredible manager. She brings the perfect balance of leadership, kindness, and professionalism to the café (which is rare in this industry). She creates an environment where everyone feels supported, heard, and motivated to do their best. Her calm presence during busy shifts, willingness to step in wherever needed, and genuine care for the team make a real difference. It’s rare to find a manager who leads with both heart and competence, and she does it effortlessly.

It’s a busy spot, especially during weekends and holidays, so you need to be ready to hustle. But with the right team (and manager), even the chaos can feel fun, it's hard work, don't be fooled by my positive review.

Don't, as an outside contractor. I was stiffed for a job. Mind you this was several years ago - hopefully they have changed management or gotten better with paying vendors.
