Pros

Nice small boutique firm. Great commission structure. If you are working at another agency in Dublin and want to move across and continue working with your current clients then this will give you a database and phone to do that but you wont get much support just pressure to be billing within 3 months

Cons

No training, no on boarding, lack of clear leadership in the business. Some nice managers in the business but there is not one person who is clearly in charge. There is another business (Paragon Alpha) being built out within the business, if you are not part of Paragon Alpha then little interest will be shown. I would advise against joining Paragon if you are a trainee or quite junior in recruitment. This is a firm with little support, for senior level consultants who can stand on their own two feet it could work out. They will promise you the world and use strong sales techniques to get you to join them. Also not on as many supplier agreements as they will let on too. Look for proof of recent work with a client

Pros

Over the years the pros became few and far between. Used to have strong consultants that offered support to junior people in the company. The natural support (not the directors) was the reason behind a lot of companies success. You are given autonomy to build a desk, but 1 month of none billing and this is a negative more than a positive. Blame culture from the top down destroyed confidence. Always the consultants fault when deals dropped, but it was the Company owner’s fee when a deal closed.

Cons

Where to begin, look at the turnover on LinkedIn. The culture was poisonous. No direction would be wrong, it’s worse. The owner pulls the company in different directions On a DAILY basis, erratic micromanagement. Worth noting with the two new directors that joined, the staff turnover went over 100% . Micro managers , no business acumen, sacked junior people in their first month to make statements to the floor. Fear tactics.
