Pros

Good bunch of employees, friendly people and have made a lot of good friends whilst working here. Some good memories, kick offs, trips, have really enjoyed myself here. Let me just reiterate... this was a good place to work PRIOR to the new senior management team and the CEO starting last Feb

Cons

Where do I start... Senior management team have no direction and no clue how to run a recruitment business. New culture doesn’t really reward hard working employees... have scrapped all good benefits such as trips, worthwhile commission and anything that makes employees feel valued as it all costs money and they only want to spend money to line their own pockets.. not for the good of the employees. Senior management think that consultants have been paid too much and are too focused on money... this is sales!? 90% of business have left in the past 12 months. Due to redundancies and just being pushed out due to the new bad culture of the company. CEO doesn’t realise that the company has been making a loss each month due to his inability to run a successful recruitment business... instead he blames it on hardworking employees and labels them as ‘lazy’ and ‘overpaid’. Staff retention strategy is completely non existent. Do not feel valued. I wouldn’t advise anyone to accept a job with these people... it’s a breeding ground for mental health issues in the work place. Senior consultancy staff on £125k salaries... pretends to be busy on a daily basis doing no work and takes credit for other people’s work just for showing up to meetings... No commission structure in place for resourcer... used to be really good... sometimes up to £400 per placement.... this is no more. Slightly alleviated base salaries... but no potential to earn well. Very unfair considering how difficult and important a researcher is to the business / account management team. Ridiculous KPIs and targets for new business for such a (now small) company... 600 new jobs per month for a team of 8... 300 CV sends. So 50% of roles worked and still then only one CV for 300 of the roles. Makes sense?
