-other advocates are really great -unique experience that builds a lot of soft skills

-unsupportive leadership -horrible pay -the great outcomes they have for advocates is really because they select top performers from top undergrad programs that would probably go on to great law schools anyways, not because of their mentorship/resources in my opinion
