Pros
Coworkers at the ground level are great. There are so many amazing people who make this place a joy to work for.
Cons
Upper management is disconnected from the realistic needs of the ground level employees. HR has been staggeringly difficult to work with, and at times they seem like they don't know what they're doing. They also refuse to answer basic questions publically, insisting all questions go through their general email.
PHC is in active union negotiations and their proposals have included conditions such as breaks (15-minute and lunches) only being given "workload permitting" or that terms addressed in the potential bargaining agreement should be determined by the employee handbook.
Perceptions of PHC is also that they have been acting in questionable faith during negotiations and they do not seem to want to improve these perceptions.
