Corporate pays a lot of lip service about how it cares for the people who run the stores, but when it comes down to it, the bottom line always comes before your team's well being. Mask mandate was rarely enforced on customers, corporate would not back you up if you denied customer service to irate people, work/life balance is thrown out the door if something goes wrong, etc.
