Pros
Working with Patchwork Hub greatly improved my awareness of disability inclusion and accessibility, and I'm grateful that I can take this learning forward. The work that Patchwork Hub is doing to support disabled people and inclusive employers is so important in furthering goals to create a more inclusive and accessible society. Social impact is at the heart of what they do and Beth's drive to share her lived experience is really impactful. The people are wonderful to work with and the organisation's social mission is not only inspiring but so very important. To be able to contribute one's skills to furthering their social mission and to come away with greater awareness of disability inclusion and accessibility as well as professional skills and confidence is a privilege. I was empowered and trusted and felt that I was contributing to truly meaningful work.
