Sometimes management could be a bit better

The kids will be grateful for the things you do for them especially if you go above and beyond to give them individual attention.

Don't be fooled. Pathways will actually call and check references but that does not mean you work with decent and caring people. Management will have obvious favorites and expect you to go out on a limb and bend over backwards to be one of their favorites. Follow this advice: do not bother with trying to please these people. There are other places you can work where you will be encouraged - not stifled - and your talents will be appreciated. While at Pathways it felt like Management and coworkers wanted me to beg to be treated like crap. No Thank You, I know my worth!!!!!!
