Pros

They are competitive on pay and benefits

Cons

QC/QA runs the show with tons of restrictions on everything. I've had emergency "ASAP" requirements to run over to address something which turned out to be crossing a blank field off a form and initialing. Management doesn't understand the large picture, company is falling into tons of money but we spend it so quick. We are lucky there is very little vaccine research companies. Changing anything is impossible Discussions on phone lead to disagreements and yelling San Diego and Switzerland don't get along. Swiss location thinks their way is the best way (always) and the two business units are completely different.

Pros

Small nimble international company possessing the full range of biotech capabilities, research, development, manufacturing, marketing and sales. Private ownership that is committed to investing in internal and external opportunities to grow our R&D pipeline and commercial products. Opportunities for individual growth with increasing responsibilities and access to senior management and executives. Intelligent, driven people working hard to make PaxVax a success.

Cons

Growing pains with transition from pure R&D to a fully integrated company. As we've grown quickly, more efficient processes and systems are trailing behind (they are catching up).
