Pros

$1 benefits and the people who work directly around you.

Cons

We were continually told our position would remain work from home. People were hired within the last month with promise to work from home. A lot of the department has spent thousands of dollars on upgrading our work from home work stations. We were blindsided this week when told we have 3 weeks to prepare to go back to office. Many people do not have child care and are scrambling to figure it out. Employees have bought houses in other cities in promises of work from home. When I say we were PROMISED I am not exaguarating. Management does not seem to care that they are uprooting and disrupting peoples lives. The delivery of the "news" was disrespectful at best. I have loved this company for a long time, but this has forever left a bad taste in my mouth. I sincerely hope management is prepared for huge turnover and company wide loss of trust. One of the companies values is "We care", but this week has proven this only applies to those on the C level. I was prepared to work here and continue to advocate for how great a company this is, but they ruined all trust/love I had in a very disrespectful 30 minute meeting. Do not work here.

Pros

Paycom offers very competitive starting pay for the Oklahoma City area. The medical benefit is only $1 for employee only coverage. They also offer something called the Zero Card for medical coverage as well for no cost. Highly recommend using the Zero Card if able to be used. The card can save a significant amount of money. Many of the immediate supervisors and peers you work with are professional. Overall the people are a pleasure to work with.

Cons

There are a lot of changes going on currently. As someone who prefers stability the last two years have been extremely challenging. The workload seems quite excessive as multiple departments have been consolidated. In the last two years I had leaders change about every three months for various reasons. Automation within the company has eliminated many positions this past year. Changes have been made to the medical plans so that several medications are no longer covered. This is extremely unfortunate especially because no one was notified until after open enrollment was completed. One medication for diabetes treatment and weight loss was cut, the company response essentially was "we have a gym, please use it. "
