Great people but not treated right - Director of Operations PayiQ Employee Review

The new owners do not treat people the right way. They just laid off over half the company with no notice, no warning, on a 3 minute video call. We were told we would receive an email about our departure. Only 2 weeks of severance and no benefit extension. They didn't even pay out PTO. There are right ways and wrong ways. Treating dedicated people that worked all hours of the day and all the time busting butt like 15 year olds at a summer job is unacceptable. This included senior managers.
