Communication is poor, and there’s a lack of transparency at almost every level. HR tends to protect management rather than advocate for staff, even when serious concerns are raised.
Turnover is alarmingly high, and when people leave—whether through dismissal or retrenchment—the narrative is often manipulated to shift blame onto individuals rather than acknowledge deeper institutional issues.
Discrimination is also a real concern, and not adequately addressed.
