Despite the great team that all laid off recently without any prior notice, there are no pros other than a company name to fill in your CV

* The CEO does not respect your role and assigns you tasks that are beyond your responsibilities and expects you to complete them by a forced deadline * You will have no time for your personal life (no work/life balance) * The CEO interferes with your work and micro-manages you and tells you how to do things without knowing the highly technical details, which creates a lot of problems that you will be held accountable for later * Even though the company is new, you have little opportunity to make a difference or advance your career * The founders are only interested in their own benefits and retirement plans and only hope to sell the company as soon as possible * The CEO puts constant pressure on the team members and threaten to fire them in team meetings * The managers don’t keep their word and are not trustworthy, they takes advantage of your personal difficulties and promise you things like bonuses, salary increases, or relocation for putting extra hours but when you finish the work within their forced deadline they repudiate and postpone it to an endless future without any recognition
