Rare Neonatal NP Jobs near Atlanta - Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Pediatrix Medical Group Employee Review

Pros

Small company with long history of Neonatology contracting services. IT support second to none.

Cons

As an "Intermittent" (PRN) employee, you are not guaranteed any hours. Further, without part-time (20 hrs/wk) work, there are no benefits. Because there are few PT and FT NNP jobs south of the city of Atlanta, these are quite desirable. Unless you commute long distances, move, or someone retires, you will wait a long time for permanent work.

Pros

Ample PTO. Competitive pay. Positive work culture.

Cons

Lack of sufficient training. No room for reasonable growth. For an employee who is not in management or a physician, the health plans are catastrophic.
