Pros
Fellow employees are warm and friendly and they want to service the community as best as they can. Because it is a small organization, there are many opportunities to gain a wide range of experiences.
Cons
Pay, benefits, and career opportunities do not compete with the other regional hospitals. Management does not appear to care for employees, and is more concerned with making themselves look good to the board. Management cannot determine what path they want to follow or what idea to support, leading to confusing directions and processes and procedures that are at odds with each other.
Growth is declining or stagnating as they cannot compete with the other regional hospitals and medical groups.
