Pros

Pella is a company where you can really grow in your career and continuously be challenged. Team members constantly move to new teams for development opportunities, which gives you a well-rounded perspective of the business. You are given a lot of responsibility on the product management team to make decisions and get buy-in from the appropriate stakeholders. It's refreshing to have a say in the business and be part of the business strategy. Work life balance is great and leaders are supportive of what you do. The culture is supportive, innovative and team members have a lot of passion for the company they work for.

Cons

It isn't necessarily a con, but there is a steep learning curve. It takes a long time to get onboarded and truly feel like you can contribute as a team member.

Pros

Great product, hours were good, and good culture overall. I worked there for well over 10 years and was very sad to leave.

Cons

The Birmingham branch went through several owners during my long tenure with the company. Each owner had its pros and cons. Eventually Birmingham was bought out by the corporate office. The company constantly changing owners gave alot of anxiety and employees were often left feeling a lack of stability. There is not alot of room for growth and the starting pay is not the best, unless you are in Trade sales.
