Pros
The district offers competitive salary compared to other schools in the state. In a similar way, technology in schools and classrooms is better than most neighboring districts. There are three new schools for younger students. There are also some great, dedicated peers to work with.
Cons
There a lot of turn-over in administration, and even when administration stays constant, district priorities seem to shift frequently. Teaher evaluations are linked to student performance. There is little time for teachers to genuinely connect with each other and build community. PLC time is dictated and PLCs are supervised by an admin. Instruction is dictated. All grade level teachers teach the same lessons on the same days from the same curricula.
