Incredible experience with an highly accountable company. No healthcare system in the Philadelphia region can compete with the benefits package (6 WEEKS of time off, 403b match, and reimbursement for education). Many of my colleagues pursued their MBA while working at PennMedicine and tuition was fully covered. There is significant encouragement for employees to grow within the company.

Not really a con but people stay at PennMedicine for years and years so competition for upper management roles hiring internally is FIERCE.

Impossible working conditions at Penn Presbyterian. Full outpatient schedule on inpatient MRI scanners. Unrealistic time slots for outrageously detailed technical MRI exams. No breaks. No support. No staff meetings. No feedback mechanisms. No respect. Only the constant threat of being written up. They are always hiring because no one wants to work under these conditions.
