Pros

Benefits are decent. Premiums are high for working in such a large medical center. The 56 hours of personal time you get 7/1 are great.

Cons

PTO accrual isn't great. health insurance premiums are too high. any new systems they introduce just know it will be an absolute nightmare. Pay are below industry standard. Employees bring in more revenue and are not compensated for it. Back end staff shouldn't have to come into the office anymore. Why are we still worrying about paper? Can we not bring things into the digital age?

Pros

Mission-focused Some patients and employees are nice Good benefits

Cons

Crowded and Busy. In the cancer institute the lines for check-in went out the door and it seems like everyone forgets their manners in that place. Very little pay for dealing with so many angry patients
