Pros
Most of the employees are great, it’s a very fascinating industry and all the products were gorgeous when the Pental brothers were running the show.
Cons
After Pental sold the company, the place went to total disaster. Before you were able to voice your concerns, and feel like you were being heard in an actual family environment. Now there is NO ONE to voice your concerns to because upper management never has time to listen to their employees because they only care about sales numbers. Before I left, they stopped hiring more people, even though they Knew you and your co-workers were DROWNING in work. You are never able to fully catch up on any work because when they did hire people, they hired people with no experience in high volume, fast paced environments. There is NO time to train the new people and management keep telling them that they would be properly trained and given a manual of how to enter orders, handle certain situations, this never happened. I was laid off due to being the only female in the office that had children in the time of the of pandemic and needed to be home full time because I had no daycare option. They are NOT willing to help their employees with children, eventually because school was still in session at home, they fired me. If you are looking into applying for any position at Pental, be prepared to be undervalued and unappreciated unless you are a friend of any kind of upper management. Also, there is no where to move up in the company, they give the wrong leadership positions to the wrong people!! You will not see any kind of employee review, or if you do get the review, be prepared to not see a raise in your salary for at least three months.
