This website is NOT legitimate. I have been trying to find work through it for a few weeks. The one thing I came to realise is that if someone directly asks you for a quote about their job, it's a fake. They advertise the job as editing fiction manuscript, for example, and then it turns out to be the same thing always: transcribing some insane number of pages in as short as 24 hours for around $3500. Except, they refuse to give deposit and don't sign contracts. They swear they'll pay but not ahead apparently because some people have already taken their deposits - not true, just a story to make their excuse for not giving you deposit sound convincing - but once you hand in the work they say the payment is send and will send you a fake PayPal invoice - I had it verified - and then they'll claim there has been an issue with your payment and will want a fee from you. Worst of all, Peopleperhour seem to support these scammers because when you complain to them they don't respond. This website is just a way of scammers finding hardworking people inexperienced with scams. BE CAREFUL!
