Understaffed, no benefits, no work-life balance - Anonymous employee Peoples Income Tax Employee Review

Certain departments are understaffed or the staff there is inexperienced, leaving an overwhelming amount of work for those that do have some experience. It is difficult to meet deadlines when the lack of others' experience creates a bottleneck at the top. Employees receive absolutely no benefits. This has diminished the quality of life outside of work because there is no work-life balance. The overworked employees just have to work and work to get the job done no matter what. This creates very long hours year round. I do not see this ever changing.
