Pros

Have been with the company for over a year. Onboarding training was recently updated and very helpful. Many opportunities for retraining and progressing. Remote work and travel opportunities available, supportive programs to help you progress and sharpen your skills! In my experience, managers have not micromanaged. Other remote positions I have worked they micromanage your time and daily activities. With Peraton I have felt empowered and responsible for allocating my time and tasks as long as I complete my assigned work.

Cons

Sometimes can get lonely, as remote wfh can be. Management does try their best to hold weekly team calls and annual in person team events though. Career progression is somewhat vague. I am able to level up in my current role, essentially take on more work. But a clearer path for development or goals to attain new skills or migrate to other positions would be nice!

Pros

Peraton is a great company to work for. My boss built a huge Datacenter from the ground up. He is very helpful to everyone in our team.

Cons

Onboarding is slow, it takes longer than I expected.

Pros

remote work, PTO was 4 weeks

Cons

managers who shouldn't be managers because they do not possess professionalism, constant last minute projects requiring additional hours with no pre-planning
