Pros
-hired straight out of college and got the experience needed to get a better job
Cons
-nice company to work for if you work in the offices, but if you work in production, maintenance, or technology departments you have to deal with the plant manager who is the worst boss i have ever had. I have never worked at a place where people are thrown under the bus so much and verbally abused in meetings (by the plant manager) in front of everyone. - the lower level employees for the most part are great people just doing their job, but management, VPs, and supervisors are all horrible and most have been in their position for 15+ years and do things the way they've always been done even if its wrong. - favoritism in production by management is common and people are promoted on personally relationships alone even if they are woefully unqualified. - HR was constantly losing, hiring, and losing people the entire time i was employed there, so no emails or phone calls were returned because of the revolving door of HR staff. - most equipment in production is >20 years old and is constantly breaking, leaking, and just inefficient. - management is so concerned with profit and hitting their numbers that they make "business decisions" that compromise the quality of the product -only work here if you have to and expect A LOT of forced overtime on the weekends
