Pros

No direct pros. Only experienced interview process.

Cons

My experience with Performance Xchange Group was less than desirable. While the secretary, and some employees made me feel extremely welcome, their communication was very poor. I interviewed at their King St office to chat about what my goals were and where I see myself as a young business professional. I was very specific, explained my background, and what I saw for myself in a position. The interviewer explained that she could envision me in one of their "account executive" roles, being an ambassador for one of their clients, (none listed on their website or facebook page). I learned quickly in the second interview that the roles did not entail close to what an account executive would do. I was told to wear something comfortable for my second interview, so I threw on what I know to be a "comfortable business casual" outfit, which included small wedge heels. Little did I know, I was introduced to a team of 18-20 year olds who's mission for the day was to take a bus down to College St and go door to door asking for donations for Cam-H hospital. This was not communicated to me. The "executives" were dressed in sneakers, jeans, and had backpacks on, looking like desperate college students sucked in to a pyramid scheme. They were brainwashed into thinking that this is a smart business tactic, and will only provide great outlook on their clients from consumers. I shadowed one of their employees going door to door. Her approach to the guest was inappropriate and scripted. She had a fake smile on her face and once asked a woman at her door, "what is your beautiful name ma'am?" Which I thought was absolutely ridiculous. I ended up leaving a few hours early due to the fact that I had been walking around downtown in heels for 3 hours. Not once was it communicated to me that I would have to beg for donations door to door in the middle of the afternoon on a Thursday.

Pros

I worked at this company for a short time, i did not enjoy it all! I feel i was tricked into starting with this company. Some of the people were so nice working there and i feel they have been tricked just like me. We basically stand in a Tim Hortons all day signing people for a credit card.

Cons

There were so many negatives working here, starting work at 7am and working until after 5pm, very long days and it was all commission pay so sometimes these people who always seemed positive but still only made $30 per day. They made you hang out with them after work and stay in the office later to which i found weird.

Pros

From the begining, the company is clear with applicants. Performance Xchange is based on merit which means that you have to know what you want and earn it. It's a great opportunity to learn and develop your sales and management skills. The training program is very complete and objective and the team professional and friendly is here to escort you this way.

Cons

Since ones of the foundations of the company is the merit and the work ethic, if you are looking for a calm job with office hours, pass.
