Pros
Remote working since the beginning of the pandemic, but even this is starting to come under attack slowly
Cons
- Unrealistic and unforgiving senior and middle management who have the view that to resolve the company problems just introduce more bureaucracy and complexity at already overworked people - You will get worked to death -Project managers are held accountable for things well beyond their control - Low wages for the effort that you will put in -Project managers are expected to be technical and do everything, even things beyond their job responsibilities - You simply do not have the time to do everything that's required, but you will blamed when it doesn't get done - You will have to work weekends to handle the volume of work on your plate, make no mistake about it, this is made worse by the fact that Israel team works Sunday through Thursday - As the 90% of the company is based in Israel the majority of your interactions are with the the offshore team. With a 7 hour time difference from the US east coast, this makes it next to impossible to get anything done in a reasonable amount of time. - Clients who will drive you nuts constantly - Company sells products that it doesn't have in order to get business, with the idea that they will build it as they go, but this adds to the chaos -No room for growth or working in different parts of the company, primarily because all the control and jobs are in Israel
