Pros

Weekly pay, great benefits, numerous and necessary information sessions from HR (and vendors) that will help you with personal and/or professional matters.

Cons

Technology is subpar. Terrible leadership/manage. You are looked at as a payroll number and lucky to have a job, so do not expect to be appreciated and/or valued for your work. Many positions were given based on personal close relationships instead of actual knowledge and experience. Archaic management style and micro-management seems to be pushed for anyone that doesn't have a Director or above title. Rodent infested buildings, forced to return to buildings as they are slowly eliminating remote work. Ageism, sexism, racism, nepotism and "ol boys club" runs rampant in this company. No definitive long-term plan for the company and its employees being as though the government is trying to move away from fossil fuel.

Pros

Easy work guaranteed 40 hours a week great benefits no lay offs pension 457 or 401k paid sick days holidays and vacation days

Cons

You get penalized for using sick days to easy to lose progressions in the summer time the higher up have less work so they micromanage everything you do new rules are constantly being added it’s not a real union the union works for Pgw so it’s a conflict of interest when it comes time for them to defend you the company always puts the blame on you if they can never find a conclusive answer to a problem
