Pros

Bartlesville is a great community with a rich history. It’s a great location to raise a family with the rare blend of a smaller community and the opportunity to do R&D for a large company. A lot of good people and interesting work.

Cons

Upper management is out of touch with what many of the employees actually do and are too wrapped up in advancing themselves. Constant change and reinventing the wheel in the name of digitalization and business transformation. Operating a penny wise and a pound foolish. Cost saving measures have made small differences on paper in the short term, but are costing much more in terms of employee morale/motivation, employee training on constantly changing software and processes, and attrition. Followed advice for cost saving measures from a third party consultant that really had no clue how or why the workflows were setup the way they were. Laid off many employees recently after having their best earnings quarter ever. Trouble keeping good talent due to toxic culture. Upper management seems to believe they are “woke” and and play a lot of politics that are unnecessary and harmful to the workplace.
